This is turning into a vanity project worthy of Livingstone.The bus will carry less people than a bendy bus, and with three doors and two staircases it will be just as prone to fare evasion (more so if they include the diving platform at the back).The open backed bus will be a danger to cyclists and bus users who have had a drink, are too slow, or just get shoved.They are also significantly more expensive that either bendy buses or normal double deckers, at a time when TfL is making a massive loss. Come on, show you can take control of the public spending on this pointless project and use the money saved for something more worthwhile - like a giant bronze statue of Boris astride the Thames, with a bendy bus stuck where the sun will never shine.
Sadly they will still be full of category C,D&E's! Only Cat B1 in my car!

Nice bus, waste of R&D budget could have just put the FRM into production with a back stair case, far to easy and obvious for TFL.And as for bendys, you can have a pick and mix approach to bus routes, ie routes along straight radial routes into london such as 159, 149, 59, 18 are ideal, routes like 38 and 73 not so, again TFL are not to bright when it comes to bus route tendering or vehicle allocation.
