I had hoped that I was wrong when I speculated that the "incident" in Lewisham last week was a stabbing. I wasn't.
The story has taken an even sadder turn now that I discover that the victim of the stabbing, 19 year old Emmanuel Odunewu, has died from the wounds.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.

such incidents seem to be on the rise and what we need is better policing not merely the passing of laws... it is time that the govt stands up to the fact that terrorism is not the only imminent threat that we face today.. and the passing of more laws will neither solve this nor is required.. what needs to be done is that the exisiting laws are enforced more efficiently in order prevent such injustices from occuring to innocent civilians..
